Default Maaco for small jobs?

I have seen the good the bad and the ugly when it comes to Maaco paintjobs while doing a seach on here, and doing some research on the web. Most of the time you find that people are totally unsatisfied with the paint job that they get from Maaco, but most of the time that is a complete paint job of the whole car. How good is Maaco with little dings and scratches on a car? I just recieved silver ES1 mechanically sound but the body needs some work.

There are scratches on the both bumpers, the person i got it from took it to some dude to push a bent fender in and he made it look worse then it was , a couple dings on both drivers side doors. I have gotten a range of estimates from $2100 to $700. I really dont feel that the job is anywhere near the thousands range. Any suggestions? would Maaco be a viable option?

I had an accord when I was young and took it to maaco for their "presidential" paint job "special" lol, that **** came out lookin like little bird feet imprints were all over the hood, roof, and trunk! I was pissed! Paint peeled and cracked within a week of getting it back, so I wouldn't recommend Macco for anything but a target for kids on halloween.

those little details you need fixed are the exact things maaco would skip over.

if u want it done cheap you are going to have to learn body work. or make some new friends
