rewire the starter signal fuse or ignition fuse to a relay and ground it to the alarm so that u control it by one of the aux signals of your alarm... worked for me for two years now.... bye
I am starting to feel that my fuel-pump cutoff switch is losing it's potential at protecting my car from theft because it is so widely discussed now that many thieves will probally know to find the wires/switch.
My point is, many anti-theft detterants gain most of their strength by being unique, more secretive. Some guy will read this over and over, and start pulling up seats looking for our wires we put so much trust in.

seano's got the right idea, be unique and try to do even the small things that woud help to slow the thief down while the lame *** popos who dont give a **** about how much money sweat and tears you put into your car arrive. Damn all thieves and lazy cops!
yes, lets tell all of our ways so theives can figure ways around them
if you are going to school.... take out your ECU... put it in your backpack.. simple as that
There's only one way anybody is getting my car. Even then, by the time they actually get to it I'll be out there with my 3 wood teeing thier brains up for a 2 block drive. And I don't even live in a bad area.
one thing my friend did that slowed down a guy enough for my friend to catch him in the act was to remove some bar, or something inside the door panel so you have to open it with the key one the outside, that way they cant just bust the window and unlatch from the inside. he didnt catch the guy but the bastard didnt get anything.
I don't have one now but on my old Jetta it was wired for fog lights and had the switch. I wired up a fuel cut off to the fog light switch, right there in the middle of the dash. I forgot to tell people when I would leave it at a shop or something and they could never get it started. No hidden switch or alarm. Just a cutoff. Simple. I think the easiest thing is to pull the ecu fuse. It's easy just to throw another fuse in there but not many people are gonna think of that.

little ot but, just wondering if you hit a thief with a bat or if you physically assault him/her in any way, can they sue you?
pulling the ecu out works until they grab another ecu, put it in and drive away, but i went to the further extent and change my ecu plugs so they can't just pop in another one, so IF YOU REALLY WANT MY CAR FLAT BED THAT BITCH AND YOU DESERVE IT!

Not so long as the force you use against them is reasonable given the circumstance. If someone comes up to your car and tries to open the door, and you bash their face in with a bat
.....that's hardly reasonable. Where as if you're at gun point or something, and your feared for your life, you can do pretty much whateva.
