one of my good freinds Civic Si was stolen last night, its Black, lowered 2.5" inches, and has stock exhaust..LIc :4KYE###..if you guys find a Si with these four first playe numbers, email me and i'll send you the rest of the numbers to see if its a match...BAY AREA members..please look out....I know its probably gone...but I gotta look out for my homies....


**FOUND**...car was found in a Oakland Alley stripped no engine, hood, doors, rims...fawkers left it sitting on rotors....*two words*...DIE THIEVES....i hope karma catches whoever did this real fast .............

Californial is a big state....but I'll keep my eyes peeled. Not trying to be the bearer of bad news, but it's probabley already in Mexico stripped. My buddy had a show quality (made two magazine articles) EJ, had an alarm and club. Whole car gone.

alarms and clubs dont do much..if a thief wants it bad, he'll get it one way or the other. If you take out the ecu or something like that where theres no way they can take it, they either vandalize it or come back later to finish up the job. Best protection is a good safe garage and a dependable beater!! Hope your friend gets his car back man!! Ill keep my eyes open in southern cali!

taking your ecu out doesn't do anything they can just plug another one in even if the car runs like *** driving away if they have the wrong one but they got what they want.

 

ditto bro..fukin sakes man..i like old Testament of dealing with these falkers !!! mine was stolen almost a year ago right out of my driveway..they must have drag d the car right into the street and onto a flatbed..almost a month later they found it in a vacant rental house in Stockton..alot of the stolen cars in the east bay end up out there..the cops said there s alot of cheap *** racers out there that rip off cars for parts..the only thing left on the car wast stock radio..everything else either went the way of Ebay or swap meet in san whoresay.. it ll take alot to find ur buds car..and if they do, i really dont think much will be left..if only these theives would put this much energy into a job they d have it made

Thnx guys for all your responses....my buddy is really worried, but knowing the fact of reality the car is probably stripped...hes geetting ready to purchase another car after the insurance settles the case, but I told him if they find his car (depends on damage) i'll buy it ......thnx guys for ur help

Not all stolen cars end up in Mexico. Friend had his 99 GSR stolen in San Diego (less then 10 min. from the border) They found it stripped in Bakersfield. If you dont find your car withing 12 hours of it being stolen, call the insurance company and hope for the best. Cause most likely the next time you see it, you'll be seeing alot less of it.

Didn't you have you R nearly stolen at one point a few months ago?
I read that they left finger prints, license plate number, all caught on tape.
Did the PD ever catch them?
Case number? I really want to follow up, they could be the ones who jacked my GSR a few days before yours. They got prints on mine too but no match.
I have the police report on mine, if you can IM me yours, I will ask the Hayward PD to see a match.
Also, do you know the cop who handled your buddy's SI? I live in Hayward too.

 

was it stock? or did it have goodies? chances are its prolly boned if it fell into someone who knew what they were doing, but if its amatuer, they'll prolly take the seats and wheels, no biggies cause insurance will take care of that. best of luck, i stay in oakland but i'm in hayward everyday......i'll keep a eye out. best of luck

ADVISE: please disable your vehicle when you park it, if they cant start it they cant take it, make sense? kill either the fuel pump or dist, easiest and the most efficient.
