New brake products from Mugen
Looks pretty good from what I can tell. Anyone have any experience with them?

I have the nifty little reserve tank covers
I've held the rotors and they are pretty light weight. If I didn't have new rotors, calipers, and pads I might consider it.....

.....do they fit under 15" rims?

Those came out about a year ago.
They are S2000 calipers with larger vaned rotors.
You must use a 16" wheel to clear them. I suppose you can use replacement S2000 rotors in the future - but I wonder what they intend you to buy when they wear out - they don't list a price for the rotors separately.
Too much dough imo

why would the spoon stop better?
because of the the multiple piston caliper design?
the mugen may not exert the same clamping force but the setup will increase leverage becasue of the larger rotor and distance from axle center..plus the rotor design will out perform most rotors out there..
all my lapping days i have yet to have one braking problem...
of course my opinion is biased, and i havent had much seat tme with the spoons..
anyways...just my .02

Esteban,
Have you considered having the Mugen rotors cryo'd, since I'd expect they are rather pricey to begin with (not to mention availability) and since the process is only about $30-35 per rotor?

My SS Works 4 piston Skyline calipered kit for Hunda's is supplied with the Mugen rotors. The Rotors are Mugen symbol etched, gold painted, cross dilled and slottled S2k untis. The rotors will fit under 15" wheels that have the correct offset and design (TE37, CP035, SW388, ...).
The caliper is not touching the wheel but there is only about 2mm of clearance. The rotor is on the wrong side because I was doing a test fit!
