Default ok very quick question about offset [searched]

ok guys i have access to some rays gram lights.

they are 16*7 with +42mm offset. this is for a 4th gen lude.

will i have any issues with tyres rubbing if the car is lowered ?

also what is the stock wheel offset for the 15 * 6.5's ?

225/45/16 is almost exactly the same size as stock(within 1%) , and you shouldnt have any rubbing issues depending on how much your lowered.

225 you will have a VERY high chance of rubbing while being lowered...... go with some 205's

i'm running 205/45/16

Yeah unless you are slammmed to the ground like greenlude or myself, you will be fine, even with the 225/45. I run 205/45/16 and get a small rub when turning the wheel when backing up. Oh and I believe my wheels are 16x7 and +43 offset.

haha yeah I am as low as I would dare go, so you can keep that extra .2 inch that you have on me! And I am debating a 5 lug swap and redrilling my volks from my wrx to run 17x7.5 with 225/45/17s, but Id have to go up a bit then.

Haha yeah I figured, mines still low since it sits in the garage all winter, and at least another 3-5 weeks till my broken ankle and leg heal so I can use a clutch again, or walk for that matter.

just revisiting this.. you have same suspension setup as i have and i can;t find 215 in 16's... its either 205 or 225.

Leaning towards the 225 45 16
