I don't think there's any way you can "brag" about a 15 year old Honda Civic.

This isn't the Appearance/Cosmetic forum. If you want "mad props y0," then post in there.

This thread had better generate some technical discussion, otherwise it's getting locked.

Very well. Turn in is smooth and before the itr22 rear sway was added, the understeer was cut down alot. Combine with the itr 22 sway, the turn is real responsive and smooth. I got the frame locks for free for being featured in the install manual several years back.

Please, please, give us a nice write up on how adjustable spring rates work. Because without a magnetic or pneumatic (airbag) spring, or deliberately inducing partial coil bind though spacers, I just can't imagine how that is physically possible.

n00b, if you know anyone that reads Japanese just go to http://www.kabayashi.co.jp they have a wonderful cartoon featuring an animated damper with a ninja sword, it explains the 32-way adjustable spring rates very well.

edit: turns out the website is down temporarily.

Shut up. Everybody already knows you run Omni sleeves on Skunk2 shocks.

It was actually a Chrysler development back in the late '80s. This video explains the concept in simple and clear terms: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLDgQg6bq7o

Ah yes. I had forgotten just how far ahead of their time Chrysler was back in the day...

Thanks Targa, my day needed that.

I can wait for it to come back up. Will check link periodically. Reading Japanese isn't an issue, I can pester the Japan team here at the office for a translation.

However, if they have a video of the shock (damper), then how does it explain an adjustable spring? Adjustments to the damping is nothing new, and has nothing to do with changing the spring rate...
