Well some of you might have seen the project log efpatmissShift had started in the EF/crx forums ,Me and him have been hunting parts and going through shells , buying this...selling that ect for almost 3 years to build this hatch, And with about 3 years of headaches and 5 shells , funding issues, debt and title problems Pat called the project quits..

At the time i was trying to move on to something newer for a nice daily . Coming to terms with having to part out my crx and sell my ek hatch daily driver. The last thing i was looking to get into was another project non the less a ef hatch project, But Pat came to me with a good offer on the shell and a nice portion of the parts..At first i declined, i was dead set on buying a s2000. But the more i thought about someone else finishing the car or the fact that the car would never be what we had set out to build i couldnt let it go. Esp after him and i both i had put equal parts of work and research in the project thus far. I just couldnt ....... Sooo what did i do.. I bought it off of him..

This thread might be kinda slow. Me not having a car, Trying to build a 00 em1 at the same time, Not having a garage and all the funding coming from my part time seasonal job..lol. It might take a min. but ill try to keep it interesting

So. heres the day we picked up the latest shell.. Drove tp VA beach to get it . Was told it was accident free ..



Starting stripping it down. and got the drivers side fender off to see a mess of bondo...At this time we just said F*ck it .. we will get the parts and fix it. Little did we know how intensive that would become . With one panel came another panel. Luckly i dont have to put that **** back together.ha...




So we orderd all the new bulkhead parts needed from honda all but the one part thats not available anymore (L. member) whatever that is.... So we took it from an older shell that had the title issues.(at least it was good for something) .





pat drilling .. we took turns. lol.

The plan is throughout the week to get the front suspension on it and move it to my parents house to strip the bay, interior and sound padding to get it ready for paint

ill post more pics here in a few of random parts for the car..

 

Heres some of the parts.. I turned my old room at my parents house into a storage unit for now. they are not stoked about it.

 

came home from work today to some gifts from ups and dhl

Jdm rear bumper and lip and rear mud guards



New drivers side motor mount. some engine bay plugs i needed and some lil parts i needed for the Em1

Yea im super stoked on the project.. Ive never spent so much money at honda in my life haha.

this weekend ill drag some parts out of boxes and get some pics of the goodies..
