Well I'll try and make this short. Ever since the ITR came out I always wanted one. Around the year 2000 I flirted with the idea of buying a 2000 ITR. Problem was I couldn't afford one so I bought the next best car IMO, a 2000 Civic Si. Naturally I feel in love with my Civic. I had the Civic all through out College. After I graduated I thought it was time to buy a new car. The Civic had a good run but I wanted something else. I thought about buying a Type R but I thought I was going in the same direction with the car (Front wheel drive, B Series, Honda etc.) I needed something different. I wanted something fast and trackable. I sold my Civic to my brother (she stayed in the family) and bought a 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution MR. I thought I was going to leave the EVO stock but the tuning bug hit me. It is now stripped and not very functional. I do on average 1-2 track days a month in it. Love the car super fast, crazy capable but deep down inside I missed my Honda. Well 2 weeks ago I pulled the trigger. Cruising through the Honda-Tech classifieds I found "Back in Blacks" for sale thread with his 1997 #97 R. Two hours later money was sent via paypal to hold the car. After a check was sent and cleared I booked two plane tickets for my buddy and I to North Carolina to pick her up. Needless to say the car was everything the previous owner said it was. The car is immaculate 100% Stock with 55,xxxx original miles. During the drive home I feel in love with the car. I was smiling ear to ear on the way home. Alright I will shut up Her she is my new garage queen. I am very proud and excited to be part of the type R community.

I wish I could. I am going to Utah in June for the GT Live event at Miller Motorsports park. I will make it for sure one of these days I wish they were a little closer to the west coast
