Picked up an 05 hfp si and....
It has the hfp kit/wheels and i was wondering if it has the hfp suspension...Is there any way to tell by looking at the suspension? does this stance look like an hfp equipped si? thanks guys!

It looks like it does, I know mine sitting stock height sat higher than that, idk could just be the bigger wheels. Looks damn clean though 
If you get an aftermarket exhaust and wanna get rid the factory (from the catback) lemme know. I also have a BRAND NEW HKS-Hi power full catback exhaust if you're interested in trading. Its never been used.

Yes, it does appear to have the HFP suspension kit on it, and it also appears to have a magnaflo exhaust on it too.
With the HFP stuff on it, I'll bet it was expensive when new. In the used market though, it doesn't seem to matter too much.

sweet thanks for your help guys. all in all i am extremely happy with the si. It came to my completly loaded, and your right the hfp didnt influence the price at all. win for me. loose for the 26,000 price tag 3 years ago...

I want to keep it pretty low key at first so the first 2 mods will be a set of full coilovers. then a set of white ctr's. It already has intake header and exhaust so im just going to lower it and cruise her...

nothing at all spectacular its a minolta dimage z3 5.0. Im just very familiar with this settings/handling. thanks for the compliment.

Why are you replacing the HFP suspension? Nothing wrong with it at all. Don't buy into the 'coilovers will always make a car handle better theory'. You have to know exactly what you are doing when upgrading the suspension on these cars.
Take a lok at the FAQ on RSX/EP3 suspension. What goes for the RSX also goes for the EP3.

You bought a car with the HFP kit and rims just to take them off and add CTR kit and rims, and change the suspension? 
Sometimes it's good to know when to leave well-enough alone... You have a very clean looking EP3(this coming from someone who despises the looks of the EP3). Your car will turn plenty of heads the way it is, it is a very nice looking Si.

Wow I don't thinkt hat i have ever seen an HFP EP3... That thing looks awesome! I wish my ol' ladies EM2 was a five lug so I could throw a set of those things on there!

Hehe I appreciate all the compliments and the opinions. I just seem to be a different breed from some of the guys in here...The way i see it is this ep is stock, and i stress stock. Maybe if it was a mugen ctr ep3 from the showroom in japan then that might warrant leaving well enough alone, but its not.... And i am sorry but I dont buy cars from the lot to leave them alone, call me a heretic but i love to tune and mod

You *do* realize that the HFP suspension is very similar to the OEM CTR suspension, right?
Do what you want, but slamming an EP3 is asking for problems.
