Default Did Some Work Today on a FA... PICS!! Lowering, Exhaust, Hids

Well my budies picked up a 08 civic si 4dr and i told them...

IF THEY BUY IT

ILL PUT IT ON

so today i told them i would do the springs since thats all the parts they had (AT THE TIME ) and started out at like 8am picking up jack stands and a 2ton jack. and about i would say 9.30am started doing some work

eww.. stock

and the goods (progress springs, part# 40.1008)

So im about done with putting the springs in and about 2 hours into it, Untill tha FACKING UPS TRUCK SHOWS UP!!!!!!!!

And Drops off some more goods.
70mm Mega Power R Exhaust
Bosch 9006 - 6000k H.I.D. Kit

So about i would say 3 hours later (taking my time and Waxing the goods )
i ended up with happy customers

Before

After

HID shot with that badass red H

side shot

rear exhaust shot

Rolling shot with dirty windshield.....

busted nuckles when i was aligning the car at my work ...

And A sound/fly by at 8000K (gurl racer driving)

Added 1.22.08
ok here are the pics and where to mount ur hid box thingy (or at least where i did)

everything allready hooked up and in red circle is a flat piece of metal.

alittle closer view

little hid box thingy resting on metal..

tied down with a zip tie....

any questions??

just showing the cut off line of the stock "OEM" headlight housing (no apc retro fit crap) with a hid kit......

not a good camera looks way better in person but just giving a idea of what to expect..

You will need a camber kit for those springs... I have them and there awesome, but the rears will wear if you dont get one.

yeah i know when the springs finaly settle and everything the rear will be cambered in.... but when i aligned the car.. wasn't yet cambered in yet..

just the rear because the front hardly never cambers in.... so if ur planing on buying a camber kit do not get the fronts because its a waste of money... iv been doing alignments for 3 years now and on 01 - current civc and rsx's the front is never cambered in (unless in a acident) just from lowering.... the rear yes allways.. the suspension is not like the 96-00 civic or integra because i know for a fact on those cars the lower u go the more facked up the camber is in the front and rear.....

Honda went to a front strut suspension in 2002 and there is no camber adjustment in most strut setups. I just got my car aligned yesterday after installing Skunk2 camber arms and Tein S-tech springs. The fronts were almost perfect, but the mechanic had to do some adjustment to the rears to get them as close to spec as possible. I was lucky enough to get a guy w/ a modded Tiburon and a tuner himself to work on my car. He did a great job.
