Ok here it goes. I was driving to my friends house when i noticed every time i tried to change gears it was hard to put my car into a gear. It felt like the clutch stayed engaged and did not disengage as far as it should. I noticed my clutch pedal was a little cricked and didn't go in as far as it should. When i got home i looked under the dash and saw this....

I need to get this fixed ASAP! because i attend College and this is my only ride.
What all do i need to remove to fix this? Whats the easiest way to do this without taking out a bunch of things? Anything you guys can help me with will do!
Thanks again Honda-Tech friends!

unbolt the 4 12 mm nuts, Theres 2 of them to the right of it in the pic. Then go pull one at your local Junk Yard

Well thats what im saying. If its gonna be a hassle to get it out then i might as well weld it. But then again i live down the street from a Junk Yard so im sure i could get another one. I think welding it would be easier though wouldn't it?

if you know how to weld i mean have a good skill on it then do it on the car. If you can't weld and don't have sturdy hands you mights weld a loom of wires and start a fire. Get a used one from the junkyard if you know you can not weld ok.

You better prepare to buy a new one from dealer. Mine broke twice after welding it. It'll hold a couple months after you weld it, but it'll break again . I bought a new one from dealer cost around 80 shipped.

</TD></TR></TABLE> ditto, i just bought a new one also. i would recommend buying a new one and welding it then spraying it down with some rustoleum to have that extra support. 80 shipped for me also. but look for "auto to manual pedal swap" in the search, theres a really awesome write up on how to remove the pedal assembly and drop the streering column, it took me about 30-45 mins to do with that write up and the proper tools

Just replace the whole thing, You will have to remove anyway to weld all the way around it. I helped a friend remove his cause he sucks with cars. Takes awhile but not that bad. He brought it to a shop and rewelded all the way around it. Well see how long it will last
