I tore my SUBFRAME today .... dope :)
Heavy long right turn and I hear BaDuNk get to Raging Angels house look under my car and see the left side of my sway bar with its guts hanging out and I'm like fuuuuck
Even with the reinforcement plates I managed to tear the subrame ... the right side is cracking to. Now I either need to get a CTR subframe put on or do a lot of welding to really strengthen that sh*t ... oh well what can you do ... it really feels different without the sway bar now

i once had that happen to me, i noticed my bolt was hanging out and the subframe had bent. i didnt look too closely at your pics but if its not that bad i suggest maybe getting the Beaks kit. i got the beaks kit after my ITR sway tore out, and it sandwiched the metal back to normal. Hope that helps. i also have pics of how mine looked. let me know and ill send them to you
That looks like a Mugen "reinforcement" kit, which has been known to provide very little actual reinforcement of the subframe, thus...tear-outs. Sorry man
The beaks kit only works with the ITR sway bar .... I am using the CTR sway bar and I drive it to sh*ts everyday I guess that is why it let go ... maybe I should go stiffer on the N1's so there is less stress on the sway bar.
The reinforcement bracket I am using is a good one and have known people to use the 24 mm mugen bar with it. I guess I lucked out and tore mine but I think it is my driving habits.

I like stay as JDM as possible ... not to say the American parts are bad but its a Japanese car so I like put Japanese parts on it ... it makes the car more unique. Its not the sway bar and the bracket that failed its the crappy construction of the car for North America ... those parts are made for the Civic Type R so I guess yu can say they are fully functional but the wrong application.
Now I need to buy the beefy CTR cross member and have it welded onto the chassis so this will never happen again

cant you get a Suspension Techniques or Comptech swaybar/tiebar/reinforcement kit though?
that might be your best bet, but not the cheapest...
