I took pictures of how I fix my door locks... Not exactly step by step, but you should get the drift..

This is the damn spring that makes the power door locks work.. See it broken, Honda used a high pressure spring on plastic, and this is the result..

This is how I fixed it..

It does not look the best, but you will never see it again, and your door locks work great after you fix every one of them.. My front ones have been working for about a year now with the way I fixed them.. I did take a few other pictures, and if you want to e-mail me or IM me (jsballou) and I will tell you how to do the fix..

ok, ive gotten the actuator completely out. ive taken it apart. that spring is not broken, that plastic is not broken. what next? the lower set of gears below the motor that spins, has the last tooth broken, that should not be the problem, it should stop exactly at that point, but whatever stops it is not, it keeps going and makes the loud high pitched grinding noise.

Then on yours it is something different. Try just connecting the unit to the plug on the door, and lock and unlock the door, see what happens..

i did.. the bottom gear stops, but the center circle one keeps spinning for about a second longer. i think that last tooth that was supposed to be there makes a difference. ill just replace it tomorrow, thanks for the howto though, it helped alot.
