Well new years eve came around and i including all my friends were totally shitfaced and high.... and they started shooting bottle rockets. well one went straight for my car and went through my soft top lol. He is paying for the damage but i need help finding a new soft top.. where do i need to look and or would a hard top be cheaper than replacing the soft top?

Well the hole is only about a quater size.. is there a way to send it in to re-stitch it or do i have to buy a whole new top. Basically..can it be repaired?

 

yeah it can be patched but itll show obviously.

hahaha soooo many of my stories begin this way... is that a problem?

a similar situation happened when we were drunk and cool and landed on the hood of my GSR... it spun around and i thought the paint was expletiveed... in the morning i took a wet cloth and rubbed the soot away...

sorry to hear about ur top... id make that *** pay and patch it yourself depending on how bad it is...

btw where can you find patch kits?

if you didnt have a flaccid top that wouldnt have happened.

 

If he's paying for it, just buy the OEM.

 

Robbins top

 

My buddy just put the robbin's top on his and it fit like crap, and looked very cheap. If he's paying for it go for the OEM!

 

well there is a seat cover shop down the road that stitch up seats and roofs so im gonna take it down there to them and see what estimate they can give me and if they could do it because its only about a quarter size
