well since I finally have time from chrismas break off work I thought I'd share my progress of my build..

ill start on before and after pics

how i got it in sept 06

stock 89 si (old lady owned) sorry my picture taking skill suck + my camera sucks

I hated how the car looked stock so i dropped it on fuction form coilovers with st drop forks and got some old school basket weave enkies ..











the motor finally blew , which i was very happy about because it got my wife of my back from putting my jdm itr motr ive been building ... *it was my only car at the time ..



took the black paint off the wheels







a palmdale boti with jdm front








boti bakersfield




jdm b18c-r 208 whp 152 tq







motor about to be pulled out



stripping paint from bay




now to the k stuff..
02 type s ecu




act full face clutch



hasport axles


act flywheel


dc header, ( i just found out i have the actual tsx header)


ep3 5spd tranny



rsx type s shifter box with cables and shift ****


04 k24a2 (tsx)




hasport harness


two hydro to cable conversion mounts .. willing to sell one cheap!!

crv motor mount bracket
rsx engine harness
type s tb

-things to buy on next check
fuel likes
fpr
fuel rail

trying to get the car up and painted by end of febuary hopfully

i got lucky i found them from a local, he was selling the drop forks for 50 bucks i couldnt pass up that deal

a friend of mine still has his set up new in the package with pro arms , he said he wont sell it because its starting to become a collectors item ...lol

i want to do the trunk but i still need to research with what nhra wants me to have to be able to run at the track with battery in the trunk , like the battery cut of switch and what not

Nice car what do the st front forks do? Incrrase travel in the front suspension allowing the shocks to sit lower and the suspension to be set higher than it seems? So you can be low without really lowering it all the way?

the k24 sit's too high and you would need to cut the hood.

i want to see how he mods his hood!

i don't think there is any mounts that will clear the hood with a k24 in an EF unless its a custom hood...not sure about the innovative mounts cause i never seen anyone use them.
