i currently have 96-spec itr wheels on my 93 eh2 (phantom grey toyota)

i need some opinions on which color to paint the wheels. heres a picture of the original wheels taken from password:jdm



heres the car they're on... (Dont mind the dust, old pic. gave her a shower 2 days ago )



heres one of my ideas. painting the center black, w/ polished lip



heres what H-T thinks. original white



how it sits now- graphite w/ polished lip



let me know what you guys think, or if you have any other opinions. thanks

does the black look bad?

i didnt think the white matches the grey... i like it, but i dont think it matches as good as the black. the more i look at the white, the more and more i like them, but i dont want to have to re-paint them again incase i change my mind later.

anymore opinions?

 

here's an opinion, stock tail lights and stock colored wheels are good

 

im looking for stock tails, i REALLY over sprayed the vht.... i only ment to smoke it.

ill take a better picture of my car and ill photoshop the white itr's on there better and see if i can convince my self to paint them white. whats wrong with the black wheels? do they not fit in?

it wont be the original color if i re-paint them white, and the indent where the red "H" was was sandblasted off... cant really be original anymore.

full polished doesnt sound like a bad idea...

is that the only reason why everyone keeps telling me to paint them white, just because they came like that?

aside from them originaly coming white, would any one else recomend any other style? all black, brown.... purple?

 

ITRs were meant to be white.
if they were beat up then put them back to their original luster

... my brothers car was ment to be a family car but instead he turned it into a race car. things can change. (im not trying to be a jerk if it makes me sound like one)

i want something thats ganna look good, not something thats ganna look out of place, just for its originality.

sorry guys, but im not feeling the white as much as the black. ill give it some more thought, but ill see what i end up going with.

 

You just opened up your lug pattern to the wheel utopia (aka 4x114.3) Stop expletiveing worrying about what color to paint your used up OEM wheels.

(i know, get rid of the headlights, i get that everytime i post a pic... those came with the car, and i AM looking for oem head's. you can also see why my car is so dusty in the other pic... look at my drive way.)
