Default how to? CRx 88-89 dash. Retrofit 90-91 cluster cover.

As the title states. I've got a 1991 Hatchback that I've fit a 1988-89 CRx dash in. Well...it came without the cluster visor or the glovebox or fusebox, so I went hunting. I picked up a 1990-91 CRx visor as I like the way it looks, and I didn't realize my dash was 88-89. So my question is how to make the visor fit on. It seems to not want to line up with the metal mount brackets and/or the cluster.

Please advise...is there a difference between the dashes themselves? Is it possible to fit the 2nd series visors on the 1st series dashes?

Just get a pair of the little metal cluster brackets off a 1990-91 model, then the cluster and cover should bolt into place. It's all i had to do to run a 91 model in my 89 crx.

Thank you VERY much, sir...I'll be attempting that wednesday, and post up on how it goes.

I'm glad I have another 91 hatchback at the shop I work at, LoL. one for DD, one for autox/racing.

Pretty much a direct bolt in, but takes patience with wires and fitment and stuff. It'll take you at least most of a day.
