honda acura badge
hey guys. quick simple question. will a honda badge (actual badge saying "honda") fit in place of the acura one? i dont feel like ordering one if the holes arent the same. i figure it will because the "H" fits in the same place an acura symbol would. just want to make sure. thanks for any help.
Not as far as I know. People that replace their A symbol with the H symbol usually break the tabs and use some sort of very thin 2 sided tape or even glue to install them. Good luck!
exactly! the pegs dont match up. you have to get the one thats right for your car. they make different applications. or do what i did to a friends car cut off the pegs and then apply your adhesive.

Yes, you can pick one up off of an early model Accord that will fit in that location. It does not use pegs, so there is no issue with trimming anything. If you want something more "authentic", you can get the Honda badge from a European or UK model Integra, but the readily available Accord one works fine.

Why bother responding to this thread, if your not gonna answer his question? I don't think he was looking for some random kid's opinion on H-Tech.
On a different note , I ordered the "Honda" badge off of JDMland.com , im waiting for it in the mail as we speak , ill let you know if its a direct fit when i get it

kid? sorry junior but you're younger than me
please tell me the point of putting a honda badge on an acura? and please, try to give me a good argument
until someone can defend their reasoning with a valid point, i and many others will think it's pretty damn ricey, almost as bad as flipping your acura emblem upside down
posers suck

why don't you tell me something i don't know?
sorry, but i owned an authentic japanese integra, and it's kind of insulting when some ricer thinks his car is so "uber jdm" that it's gotta have the H badge as well
toyota emblems on a lexus? nobody does it
ford emblems on a lincoln? nobody does it
although i have seen some trash put mazda emblems on their ford probe.....
so how dumb does all that sound? about as dumb as putting a honda badge on a car that was produced for America as an acura
this is my opinon, and honestly there's no argument that can be made to change it
carry on posers

I'm gonna have to agree with Graf-fiti.
If the Integra was a honda (in the US), it would not be worth as much. Here in America, Acura is known as a "sporty & luxurious" car line.
Not sure how this will effect the resale value of your car. I wouldn't buy an integra with honda badges unless it was a true "JDM" car. And I would prolly still never buy one.

Being an older (25) honda-tech member I can see what you are saying about posers and the badge issue...But if its something they want to do, just let it go. It has nothing to do with our cars, and a real Honda enthusiast knows the difference between a usdm integra and a jdm integra. An H badge is not going to "confuse" us, so if someone wants to go buy one and take the time to put it on...so be it. And I am not saying those who put H badges on their cars are poers just for the record.
BTW...For everyone who is reading this...Obviously the integra is a Honda made vehicle...we know this. The Acura name is the name given to Honda's "luxury line" of vehicles that were brought into the U.S. Many say that Honda badged these cars as Acuras because it appealed to the pompous attitudes of american buyers, making them think that they were buying some high end Japanese automobile. Little did the buyer public know, the cars they were purchasing were little more than civics and accords with different body panels and a few more options.
Nonetheless...its your car, do what you would like to it.

Wow, you really wouldn't buy a car based off of a couple plastic badges? That is incredibly retarded.

weaver, i'm right there with you age wise and perspective wise
now when i look back, i look at it as a compliment because at the time i was the only person w/ a real jdm car around, and it was nice others were trying to imitate me

no, the retarded thing is faking the funk. i wouldn't buy it either, who knows what other cheap ricer crap was on the car. if it was tastefully done, i would either debadge it completely or put the A emblems back on, depending on other factors of the car

this got pretty serious. i respect your opinions on the "H" and "honda" badges being on an acura. seeng as how its my car i'll put a expletivein chevy badge on it if i want. but why not ask,,,why put a jdm front end on a usdm integra? thats not acura at all! i know why, because u want the car to look like its from japan. my post wasnt up for debate, it was a question i wanted answered. but the critics couldnt let anything happen that they wouldnt do themselves. thanks to those who contributed to my thread, and thanks for the pics. cornflake dc2, thats the emblem i want accompanied by the "H". so lmk how it turns out. dc7, thanks for the pic.
JDM,USDM,EDM, blahblahblah, it comes down to what people like, if they wanna install tyc tailights whatever thats their thing, lets not be sheep and follow the heard. Guy had a simple question and if you have a answer thats awesome, if not keep negative comments to yourself. Some people cant be ballers and import REAL jdm cars, so if all they can afford is a badge to come close to the car they want their car to look like then more power to em.
