Default Just Installed a Mishimoto radiator check it out

I recently installed a Mishimoto aluminum radiator and fan so far i am very pleased with the quality, construction and price. bought from ebay for 300 shipping and tax inclu. for radiator, fan, and hoses.

when i bought the set up it came with this fan but the stupid thing didnt come with any brackets or anything to mount it on the radiator so i just custom some brackets...came out alright...

comparing the width

yeah the new ones looks alot better haha
the stock metal fan is real heavy comepared to the mishimoto all plastic one and i wana say that my new set up is prob. just a few pounds more than stock fan only!!

almost done with it just need to do a little more to be done

just tossing in a few other random pics just in case if anyone thought of putting del sol seats in their lude

Havent seen to many lude with differet side mirror iono if people just dont like the look ?? but i like these apr's i just cut a carbon fiber sheet to fit...will match up better when i get that carbon fiber hood

hope this help somebody...haha

Cool, I did my mirrors almost exactly like that a while back. It makes sense from a performance standpoint; less weight and better aerodynamics, but no one seems to really want to mess with it .

I can tell about most any wire in a 4th gen, haha. Could you post a pic of the wiring and box you're talking about? I know the ABS computer is behind the passenger side arm-rest panel, and the radiator fan controller and ECU are in the passenger side floorboard...is that what you mean?

oic so the sliver box is the ecu and the littler black box that i put up in the coner there is a fan controller whats weird is that when i was just cutting back the wiring (audio) that wasnt connected to anything my clock went out and so did the lights on the center consolel well just the back lit ones....like when you turn your headlights on but when you push the button the orange/green lights up still
anythoughts?? did i knock some other wiring loose its not reall a big deal but just wana know....

Pictures of said mirrors? I need to do something like this for the track car because I can't fine tune my mirrors since they're powered, and I bet non-powered mirrors will be lighter.

Nice work on the radiator install, have you noticed an improvement in water temp?
The mirrors look good and like others have said they make good sense for track cars.

I doubt there is any noticeable difference... real benefit is the additional room that is available after the install with the addition of a slim fan. I believe Hawkze has a water temperature gauge, so we can find out from him.

Yes, I do have a good temp gauge. The water temp has really had no change since the radiator...sitting still in the Texas heat it takes a while to get to 210* and then the fan comes on like it should.

As long as the rest of your cooling system is good a slim rad will be fine.

you planning on going turbo? the rad looks good and definately opens up a lot of room to fit it? Ill be putting a turbo motor in this coming spring/summer and the extra room would help a ton

also what are the dimensions of the radiator?
