Press Release; the long awaited Pro-Series Traction Bars for 88-00 and 90-01 Integra
JDMCars is proud to announce the long awaited Pro-Series traction bar, brought to us by Avid Racing.
Avid has done it again; the long awaited Pro-Series Traction Bar is here! To enhance the Avid Racing Pro-Series product line, the ones to bring us the first all billet mount kit to the market; we would like to introduce to you their newly designed traction bar. With the success of the Pro-Series line thus far and the amount of power many of us are now making, the product found in the Avid Pro-Series line will be the must need items for the 2008 Season and on.
The Pro-Series traction bar is still made from 4130 Chromoly and with a newly upgraded radius arm bar; it only makes it far more superior from previous design. The radius arm bar is now made from Alcoa 6061 1” solid aluminum. Once machined, it is then heat treated for a higher yield and tensile strength. The rod ends are also upgraded from ½” to 5/8”. Avid only uses the best in components with the use of rod ends manufactured by Aurora Bearing Company, USA. Also, new with the Pro-Series traction bars, consumers will notice that custom machined misaligned spacers are pressed in the rod ends. This is made for easier installation and designed for an amazing fit. The Pro-Series traction bars are backed by a manufacture’s limited lifetime warranty.

my thoughts exactly.
Im sure they are cheaper, but there are other companies that have the same design and a decent price, so what makes these so great?

I have been an Avid dealer through 2 different places for years now. A while ago they were having issues with shipping, which was out of their control, but I have not had issues with anything of this sort in as long as i can remember.

Like others have pointed out, Avid has worked on the issues of shipping to put the large delays and possible miss shipments behinds us all. Thanks Avid
Furthermore; vendors like myself have stepped up to the plate to get items instock to supply to customers. This way, if there is a possible issue with customs, etc -it is the headache of the vendor and doesn't effect the customer as we are not waiting on 1 part to ship 1 each order, we stock items and order before we run dry.
It is always important to select a good reliable vendor that offers a good price -

Thats good to hear. Back in the day they didnt want to do much for me when their EF linkages kept bending on me. I also remember after i took my first test drive after an avid mount install that took me a while because of shitty fitment, i had an unopened coke in the cupholder. The harsh vibration helped give me a coke-washed interior once i opened up the can. The mounts made me hate driving my car. Good to hear they are doing better nowadays. This original ingenious traction bar should definitely set avid apart from the others! SWEET!
i like how the rod ends have the spacer piece "built in", and i also like how the radius arms are hex shape... easy to fit a wrench on to turn, if you need to.

I'm not to sure what Full-Race bars are made from, but I can tell you that our's are made from 4130 chromoly. The biggest difference is that we use 5/8" rod end vs. 1/2" like most companies. It's bigger and holds a higher yeild and tensile strength then the 1/2" rod ends. But, most important! We do NOT use cheap taiwanese rod ends. Aurora is what we use, they're made here in the USA and they have been around forever! Also, the 1" solid hex bar is designed for easier wrenching. With most companies using round radius arm bars it's harder to hold to tighten the jam nuts.

I like the look of those alot compared to alot of the cheaper/weaker setups out there.
