Default crx dash instrument cluster cover, Any mounting differences from 88-89 to 90-91?

I have a CRX dash in my EF 4 door and i am missing the cluster cover for it. the dash was given to me and is why i am running it. The only problem is that i am unsure of the year, wether its 88-89 or 90-91. The car the dash currently resides is a 91 civic sedan with a 90-91 instrument cluster. I just need to know that if i find that the dash is from a 88-89 that i can use a cluster cover from a 90-91 to fit the instrument cluster from my 91 civic sedan. i dont want to have to run a 88-89 instrument cluster to make it work. or maybe both will fit and i get lucky.... let hope so.
