i think the ap1 came with 15" wheels, so I imagine a 30+ offset wheel would work. Hard telling though, the dx knuckle might? interfere. I'll let brakeexpert elaborate.

This setup clears 16" wheels. The only 15s I can 100% say they clear are the TE28 by Volk and the CPF by Racing Hart. This setup cannot go on a DX knuckle, the bracket would hit the rotors hat even if you used a smaller rotor. If there existed an 11.1" rotor with a hat small enough to hug the edge of the DX huh, maybe. This setup goes for 450$, I have a kit if anyone is interested.

Damn, my stock calipers are BARELY clearing the inside of my stock steel rims (<1 inch clearance). This would never work on mine :-\.

I'll add it to the FAQ though.

Why does everyone have such small wheels? This is a big brake upgrade. If you ran it, you probably want at LEAST 16s so that you have a total lighter rotational mass, wider wheels, and sticky, low profile tires that give a bigger surface area with which to brake. Seems to me that big wheels are the way to go not only for the performance of wider tires, but they take lower profile tires which are a lot lighter than the big 65 profiles that our cars come with, netting less unsprung weight.

very cool.

I had no idea that civics had the different bleeding procedure. I did mine furthest to closest, haha. That explains why my pedal has a little bit of a squish to it.

The civics came with 14" and 15" wheels from the factory. I upgraded my wheels because I autox and I was turbo'd at the time which the wider patch would help transferring all that insane torque to the ground. Now that I have 17's it is possible to put this upgrade on. I'd have to wait though. Thanks for at least researching this. This is much cheaper than buying the Spoon upgrade. Out of curiosity, how many pistons do the S2K calipers have?

I run 15x7 with a +38 offset. Any way to find out if they will fit. Some sort of measurement etc that I can take to see if they will clear etc. Very interested, but want to make sure they fit before I drop the coin :D
