Default 01-03 to 04-05 front end conversion

Is it possible to convert a 01-03 front to a 04-05 front? If so, what will be required besides the hood, fenders headlights and bumper? I hope to do this in the near future if possible. I've searched btw.

your gonna have to wire up the headlights. because the 01-03 doesnt have separate hi and low beams. i believe the 01-03 have h4 and i know the 04-05 have 9005 and 9006.

a wiring diagram will help alot. not to mention the additiional fuse ur gonna have to add.

but good luck if u follow through with ur idea

separate high and low beams = 2 pairs of bulbs. they are h4 and 9005/9006 though, i just replaced my bulbs (dont waste your money on xtrabright sylvanias like i did).

but just wondering why would you want to convert the front end, they dont look thaaaaaaat much different?

thats what i previously just said lol

maybe cuz some ppl like the looks of the newer front end?

or want somethin different.

there was someone on here that already did the conversion, but i think it was a sedan.. which has no relevance on it being any diff.

if u can manage to find who did, i recommend talking to them to see what they did, and possibly any problems or custom fab you have to do

cuz i think there was a couple things that needed fab

yeah i just like the look of the newer style. i think it looks sleek more racy for some reason. before i got my es1 i wanted to get a 04-05 coupe but insurance was an issue for me.

This site could be some help, unfortunately it is in Thai. At least you can see it. The important thing is the bolt position of the head light as of pic 3. You need to move it up a little bit.

or actually.. i have a better suggestion. if u manage to find a totalled 04-05. if possible i would take all the wiring for the headlights. it will save you trouble if ur not electrically inclined

As i read through, the only fab is on the bolt position of the head light.

The description in those page is useless, because the guy didn't do it by himself. The garage did it for him. So the only important thing in that page is what i told you about the bolt.
