Default Spoon Springs Installed! [6 pix]

Thanx Dan & Porter for help w/the install! Took an afternoon to get them on, not bad... Ride quality is very close to stock, not too harsh. The rear looks pretty low compared to the front.

Nice.

Y'know, I swear that looks like the exact same drop I got from my Tanabe Super H springs, even down to the f/r thing.

very nice, but still I am concerned about whether it will negetively affect the performance (especially on the track) ?

With the front higher than the rear, you will experience more understeer. What are thier spring rates?

If you measure it you'll find that the front and rear are the exact same height. It just looks lower in the rear because of the smaller wheel arches.

I experienced the same rear camber problems when I installed my Spoon springs. I just got the SRR rear camber kit and took care of the problem...

dont want to be the only negative guy but i dont see how that is the perfect drop. The rear is definately lower the the front. He's going to need a camber kit, witch means it affected the suspension negativly, and the car is too low. i say that because rite now it looks okey but in a few months the springs are going to settle and its going to be lower. Just cuz its spoon dont mean its good.

Man, if Eibach and H&R can figure out how to keep their springs from sagging I'm sure Spoon can... I seriously doubt they'll settle any at all. If they were going to settle, they'd do it about 4 bumps and 3 1/2 turns after he set the car down and test drove it.

So what if the rear is a little lower. Get yourself some koni yellows so you can put the *** up a little. Ask KeyedITR we put some yellows on with his Eibach sportlines and gave the fron an extra 25mm drop, and he loves it. Bad boy cruised to San Diego and back without any spinal injuries.

I have Tein S-tech Medium and they have the exact same drop!

I had an alignment done, and my camber is still within specs, no need for camber kit. I've had mine on for 3 months and there is no noticeable settling, uh maybe 1/8"

I'll bet money that car is hitting the bumpstops on most turns.
