As the title says. I want to see some kits and how they look. I am in the market for some and want to compare apperance. Most people say Phillips so I loved to see pics. Don't forget to post the brand with the pic
PS: Pictures of the lights not pics of the kits in the engine bay LOL

heres my 4300K kit that i bought back in 1999.
yeah, its not all purple like those 6000K kits..but it also doesnt look fake at night..
.. 6000k is for looks basically..it still performs better than halogen..but it makes the ground all violet colored.. looks like some bright PIAA bulbs..

philips makes a new 6000K bulb called the "ultinon" .. ive heard a lot of complaints though about these new 6000K's from guys who "upgraded" from 4300K.. you lose like 40% of the light you had because its so purple.. you lose lumens.. but hey, if you want it for that "cool HID look" get the 6000K's
Philips Ballast and Philips 4300k bulbs

technically if there is not automatic headlight levelers then it is illegal. But w/ the Integra's projector cutoff beams, 4300K kits shouldn't be a problem, as long as you have it adjusted correctly. And yes, higher color temp = less luminous flux (light output).
So can you changes the bulbs out on HID kits with Phillips?
as long as the bulbs have the same back..some HID bulbs have a rounded back with a metal prong inside..others have 2 wires with connectors..
Bump,
I'm trying to decide as well between 4300k and 6000k, i keep seeing lots of pics of very bright looking halogen 4300k cars, then beautiful white 4300k cars and can't figure out what I want. Was looking for very white / slight blue and was hoping a 4300k kit could do it for me.
I was looking at the k2 6000k ultra white kit (not the crystal white = purple white..even though the picture above looks great!)
Anyone have more pics??
