I'm in the market for one, and after reading through the search archives, I've decided we needed a poll to get everyones opinon on the best rear strut tower bar. Which is the stiffest, and best overall? If possible can you guys post pics of each, installed if possible? For future search users.
P.S. If you think that they're all pretty much the same then vote for the best quality, if not then vote for which is the stiffest, and best overall.

If it bothers you, its simple, just IM dustin or markc. They shall take care of all.
I get a feeling dustin has been itchin to ban someone the last few days anyhow with the RSX forum change

The Mugen one is biggest I think. It goes straight across rather than up and over. it just goes over. So you ahve to cut the plastic. But I love mine. Big difference.

To those people who want to know what method Im using to determine strength...
Take a 4 sided box. The bottom part are the axles, the sides are the shocks and the sides and the Mugen bar is the top since it goes straight across. The spoon and JDM ones have the same bottom and sides, but they go diagonally up and then connect in a straight line.
Here this is a ghetto drawing based on simple geometry and what I remember from physics:
As you can see the Mugen one is a complete box, 4 sided. This is stronger than the Spoon/JDM one which has 6 sides and more corners. Circle with no corners is strongest, followed by a triangle with 3 then a square with 4. Corners weaken a structure. Oh and the Mugen bar is bigger than the Spoon/JDM one. The are all aluminum so the material doesnt play a part really.

Is the Mugen Aluminum?
-Dave, who thinks a cage is better than any rear strut tower bar.
Actually the spoom and jdm bars go straight up really, not at an angle. So it's still a 4 sided box, just higher and with a few more joints.
Is the Mugen Aluminum?
Which is better than a corner but its still weak compared to a solid length.
Either that or titanium. Its too light to be steel. BUt not expensive enough to be titanium.
It's too expensive to by Aluminum.... I don't recall it being Alum. but I could be wrong.
I strongly believe they are made of stainless steel.

Where could I find the best price on the Mugen Rear strut bar?
Both Benen and Mugen make very good strut bars... I would take either over Spoon anyday. Here is a pic of my Benen rear upper strut:
Don't holes like in that bar pictured make it weaker? The only other bar with holes I've seen is the DC Sports front tower bar and I can bend that with my hands...
I would think having those large openings in the bar would create a weak link at those thin strands of metal.

As soon as Dee sends me the rear, I'll be sporting this combo
Carbing/Okayuma rear strut goes straight across, and has NO JOINTS unlike some of the others.

If I get one, it'll be the JDM, because it's easiest to put in with interior and it's OEM, although it is not the best.

excuse the crappy cutting job
