Wing Removal... How to?
its simple, just 2-4 nuts holding it in if i remember correctly, pop the trunk and fine the nuts on both side, undo them then there will be some double sides tape holding the wing in place, i have heard the best way to remove the tape is with dental floss so you dont hurt the surface, its extremely simple and shouldnt take more than about 2 minutes
To those who have removed their wings, and then put it back on: have you re-attached your wing without the double sided tape? if not, what tape have you replaced it with?

Great guys.. That is exactly what I am going to do then...
One more question:
To those who have left their car wingless, what did you use to plug the holes?

When the wing was off, i bought these rubber stops from home depot (well acutally my dad bought it) that fit right into the holes. They were clear so it kind of matched with my CW car. But even if you dont fill the holes, water is not going to drain into the trunk
You wouldn't know, or happen to figure out what kind of plugs they were... I don't wanna stroll into Home Depot and get the wrong ones...
Honestly I dont know exactly what they were used for. I can ask my dad when i see him.
They were rubber stoppers, maybe used to put at the end of a pipe/rod type thing to block sharp edges...(just a long shot)

Check out Mike Harvey and ask them for the 'plugs' that cover where the strut bar goes in Gsr/Itr, but instead for an LS, since they do not come with a strut bar.
for those that's planning to take off the wing, you might wanna get somoene to hold onto your wing when you're unscrewing the bolts....
even though there's tape holding the wing onto the trunk.... we don't want any accidents here (i.e. the wing falling onto the ground) i've seen that happen before...
careful...

Usless hole plugs:
Acura part #90301-SR3- 000
They come black, but you can paint them with touch up to match. Looks better than black holes.

LOL (but shaking head in saddness) at that last post.
Anyways, I just removed my wing last week. I used the dental floss trick which worked as far as not hurting anything, but either I had some shitty floss or that double sided tape was stronger than normal cause it was a pain my *** trying to get it loose enough to pull on off. Took me all of about 15 minutes though. After it was off I used my finger to rub off the excess tape left on the car itself, then some 3M adheisive remover to get the rest off. I went to the local auto parts store and found some plugs that fit with a smooth top and painted them with touch up paint. Threw some clear coat from my plastic models supplies on top of that and they were good to go.
BTW.......My wife, and everyone (except me) so far hates the look.

i have a base model integra with the 3rd brake light, and the previous owner put on this horribly shtty looking wings west spoiler. i took it off and plugged it "home depot style" with some rubber plugs. no leaks yet! ( but it looks like crap )
Wing came off with success... Bought some plugs from Napa Auto Parts and painted the tops of them with some Phoenix Yellow touch-up paint... Still getting used to the look, but overall I am happy. I wish I had pics, but unfortunately my digital camera is in the UK... ITR 408 has undergone some minor changes: (wing removal, sticker removal...)
