civic tire size

Default civic tire size

would rota attacks 17*7.5 on 235/45/17 kelly tires fit on my 97 ex? or is 235 too big?

The stock civic tire is 185/65/14. Going to a 235 is a big difference. I used to know the formula of the top of my head, but i forget. Go to Tirerack.com and look for it. You can use it to figure out how wide the tread is in inches. Then you will see how much of a difference you will have. I would never put that big of a tire on a civic.

I think 235 would be too big. Using that tire size your speedo would be 8% off. In order to maintain the same tire diameter you should go to a 205/40/17 size tire.
