Anyone from this board racing something?

Me and a few other automotive types: 2 Honda Employees and another engineer are racing our wonderfully prepped 89 or 91 CRX I forgot which year the runner was, anyways the car will have a sexy urban camo paint scheme so if you're going to be out there come buy and bullshit with us, looks like it's going to be a great event

2 or actually 3 of the Team 211 Racing crew are on here. My self along with Colin (and yes thats his s/n too) both post on here regularly. What day are you heading out there... it would be nice to pit next to another honda team. We are running a 92 integra gs so common knowledge would be nice.

We are leaving late late thursday night or early early friday morning sometime from thw irvine area. pitting next too some local guys would defenitely be nice I will pm you my info!

 

Sweet, a friend and myself are leaving from Temecula/La Cresta (think over Ortega) mid to late thursday evening and picking up another team mate @usc around 8-ish. We hope to get our pit and such set up Friday as well as run the open track then too as we have little seat time since the car has been set up. I'll pm you back with my info. Another team mate lives in LB so we are all pretty close.

Hey we are talking $500 cars... that means $5 12 packs are pushing the beer budget

Plus when it's coming through a beer bong it all tastes the same and I believe our car will have one built in... possiably two.

I wouldn't go around saying PBR is bad beer, I would say it's cheap beer but I would rather drink it over the big three. Bud,Coors, Miller.

We should definitely pit next to each other if at all possible so we can share honda knowledge Like Jon said, we'll be heading out thursday night and setting up camp friday as well as running the track day on friday.

In regard to the beer... Pabst Blue Ribbon won for the best American Style Lager last year at the Great American Beer Festival. Now lets stop fighting over beers or else we're bound to start a feud before we start a friendship! Or better yet, lets just skip all the mediocre beers altogether and talk about top notch stuff from the likes of Stone or Pizza Port Breweries :D

Arogant bastard is some good stuff... Once your really drunk that is. But I must say their IPA is one of my favorites. And I am looking into trying to buy some Mikes beer cheese (he works for stone and makes cheese with their beer) Not for the event but because it's great. They make one with arogant bastard that is spicier than spicy but oh so delicious.

And for the PBR, I'll be sure to bring one with your name so you can see if it really is not that great tasting.
