what Stage clutch for each hp
stages are for video games...each one is different. It would be better to ask the question i make X hp, has anyone had good luck with an aftermarket clutch to do race/dd/auto-x/track only their car.

exedy stage 1 here. I liked how it was during the break-in period, but i wouldn't mind something with a tiiiny bit more bite. However, my friend threw a stage 2 in his and it's too much action....wish there was a happy medium.
i had a 6 puck unsprung disk with a type r flywheel and pressure plate on a b20vtec/b16 tranny. the torque was crazy! its basically an on/off clutch. not much room for feathering. it was an awesome clutch but man did traffic suck. for daily driving i would stick with a exedy stage 2. it was a great clutch and had some bite to it

exedy stage 2 great for daily driving? it fucken sucks for driving in traffic cuz of the chatter. you can't start off lightly like you need to in stop and go traffic.
on that note, anybody want a lightly used exedy stage 2 clutch? 7k miles on it, looks almost brand new (pics can be provided).

each company rates their "stages" at different torque holding capacity's. if you're making over 500whp, you better look into a twin disk if you want it to hold.
yo whats up lindon, lol psh my econobox is faster than yours, and to the OP get a lightweight flywheel if you are changing the clutch, you won't regret it

youd have to switch to a twin disc setup and spend like $1000-1400 on the clutch alone.
