maybe remove some things or replace some things to make the car lighter?
painted or non painted CF hood? maybe some CF fenders? some light weight rims?
7-14 pound seats? install lighter carpet? inflate or deflate the tires to either improve traction or improve trap speed?
or forget about the 1/4 mile and travel to leguna seca with SCCA and have some fun...

make the intake as straight as possable and or individual throttle bodies
remove all banjo fittings in the stock fuel line
remove all banjo fittings in the stock fuel line
go with smaller wheels (real light ones) and some good track tires too...make your hood carbon fiber along with the fenders and take out the carpet (believe it or not it will save a lot of weight)...also you should take out the passenger seat and back seat when you race since it's so simple to do (i dunno if you do this already or not)...and do you still have the cat on your car?...if so take it off for some extra power at the top end...remove some of the trim on the car that's not needed...that could save probably 30 pounds...the plastic inside the fenders etc...good luck hitting 12's...how close are you right now (or what's your fastest time so far?)

You forgot to thank Honda-Tech fool!
BETTER???
So Far, just the ECU was changed from the GSR to a modified P13 (removed rev limit) other than that just some weight reduction.
what is new since your last trip to the track?????

How extreme are your cam profiles?
What's your rev limit?
What's your compression ratio?

What's your compression ratio?
The rev limit has been removed from the ECU. I have a shift light set to come on at 8200 RPM. the car doesn't make much power there but it helps to stay in the power band. My compression ratio is 12/1.
yep... thats one quick 4 door.
all you people telling him to get lightweight wheels: he uses the ssr's for the street. at the strip he uses the bogarts.

Hmmm I recall you being 2.6 liters with stock bore and all stroke?
Now at 2,439 cc with 89 mm bore x 98 mm stroke huh?
Rod/stroke ratio: 1.459
Bore/stroke ratio: 0.908
(assuming stock rod is 143.0 mm)
Are those good numbers?

4doorH22,
No, that was actually never the case (just stroke). Both R&D engines I had previously were bored and stroked. Always. Both R&D engines said BYE-BYE, due to assembly issues on R&D's part...Unfortunately. I built this one myself. I changed the crank throw to a smaller 98mm and the bore size was decreased to 89mm to maintain cylinder shape (promotes strength). This engine is a lot smaller than both of my previous 2.5+ ltr R&D engines, but so far it has put out more HP/TQ than the larger R&D engines ever did. Plus it can be reved higher if needed.

That right there will help you immensely... you'll have 3D fuel mapping capabilities... adjustable ignition timing!
dude.... i thought amber had a hondata stage 4 for sale a while back. she posted a for sell thread in the HS.com arizona forum and everything.
