Default Fab pics: Divided T3 Manifold for 35R'd SRT-4

I'll wait for the customer to take some pics of the collector, etc. The gate port is divided all the way to the valve. Enjoy Wesly! Thanks for the referral Kevin W.

Sick work man! BTW, is that the ATP housing? What do you think of it? Is it divided all the way to the end of the exducer?

very nice work, how hard is it to crush those fittings down to fit the ports. i have a couple D4RE flanges at the shop and the ports are really short and wide. doesnt look fun.

looks nasty folks! nice and compact as well.

question, how are you welding the downpipe and dumptubes? it looks as if you are fusing them, but are you adding filler as well on a second pass? i am also assuming this is 16ga or the like stainless? thanks a lot...

I use the biggest cup possible when I do this stuff, my lens is over 1"dia, and the coverage looks like this.

CK worldwide gas saver lense. the big cup. i use the 1/16 thoriated tungsten (transformer machine...syncrowave 200)

I did fuse the dp, but I also backpurged it. This may sound weird...but I did 3 of the welds on teh dp with filler...and the others with out. the dumptube was also purged. I think I set my machine to 160 amps to weld the 16 gauge.... no bevel... just pure speed and amperage. I got penetration btw. :D

Manifold is 304L SS

I use a hammer on a vice to match the ports. I have a nice piece of skin missing on my thumb from making them match the port. D4RE's are easier to match than SRT-4 ports.

Forced Fab... I still have a 99 R/T and I do a lot of 1g stuff...I however am still banned from neons.org due to a duesch bag named Chris Barnett who banned me because I constantly corrected him on his misinformation.

Neon people...interesting news for you all. At my school... there is a 5 valve neon head, a neon block from 93, composite valve cover from 93, 15 T850 transmissions (srt-4 trans), schematics from a T863 transmission...magnesium case 6spd transaxle that was originally designed for the srt-4...if I could only find that transmission...evidently ONE was made. One of my professors actually worked for NVG and designed the T350 AND T850. Yeah...WWU is pretty dope IMO.

sorry for the OT post there.

Thanks for all the comments guys

PS...Im buying a Dynasty 200 DX this weekend...no more transformer TIG welders yay!
