About 1 hour from me is an international mountain-race with more than 200 starters from A-Z!!! Stock group N cars, Ford Cosys with 800hp, formula cars, historic cars, delta integrales with 600hp, Scubies with 500hp, A086 Toyota, Opels, VWs, etc etc etc.
I am starting in the class for high modigication with more than 2 litre discplacement. The 1933ccm I have (84mm bore) is multiplicatied by factor 1,7, cause I have an f/i (turbo)...that means I have to fight aganist the strong 4WD armada!!!!!!!
Since this is the first kind of event I am driving I did pretty well. My goal was not to be the last one in my class, but in the training runs I am 17th of 25. The other competitior are pros in that sport, run very soft slicks and has the right suspension for that kind of racing. I use my hard track slicks.
The roas is 3,4km long and has lots of curves and long straiths + highest speed is beyond 200kmh!!!!
Today was training and tomorrow is race, I wanted to sleep there in the Bus (my towing vehicle Ford Transit...you know how it looks?!
) .....but in the 2nd run I lost the 3rd gear. WTF!!! So I brought my car back home and we installed an oem tranny from an ITR with stock gearing and stock LSD
........
look at:

My g/f is with me and her brothers Suzuki Swift GTI. There is another Suzuki with 185hp n/a 1300ccm and a insane curb weight of 1320 lbs

There are more than 200 sarters and on Sunday (race day) more than 40000 visitors. It is way cooler than on DRAG or Racetrack days....paople are going on the road when the cars brought back from the finish home to the park ferme. They congratulates, claps hands, try to make pics and vids, aks bunch of questions, etc....I am loving it

That tranny was fuxored.
Your speed holes are looking good.
I need to find a Racer Chick.
I never thought I would say this but, we are gonna need more info on that Suzuki. We in the States have only seen that car in video games or at the Pikes Peak Hill climb.

So austrians drive on the left side, what are some 15 year old cars that would be cool to bring to canada?
I always wanted to import something fun, but i hate driving on the other side, left hand turns are a death trap!

That is some cool ****! That would be killer if we had something like that in the U.S.
Amazing to see the teeth on the gear just sheer off like that. Third gear...third cylinder. Hmmmm. Honda conspiricy? Kidding.
In for videos.
Good Luck.

wow, that tranny went bye-bye
i'm amazed at the power output of that Suzuki. is it based on the Swift GTi?
those things were always great fun, but i'm sure most of them have rotted away by now
nice to see an Escort Cosworth in the mix too

He wouldn't know. He's too busy calling people out when he doesn't get the joke to begin with. He's done it a few times this week already.
Jokes on you 1071.

I am back from the race. I had a 120 degree turn in the morning, but I had luck and the car was under control. With stock ITR (4.785 fd) gearing and stock LSD I could not drive as fast as with the longer GSR tranny and the Cusco RS LSD I run usualy and in the friday trainings.
there are LOTS of pics from the race online: klick in the left field on Bergrennen ESTHOFEN - ST AGATHA and than on Fotos.

Yes, an Mini powered by B18C6 (Euro ITR code)
This extrem BMW and Mercedes have an V8 Chad engine inside, I think 800hp or so. driving back the road course was an very amazing thing. Did not know I have so much fans *gg* .....the people are great and loved to watch and I got so much props......had a red face *lol*
