I know to put the eg, or ek front on the del sol you have to swap the core support, and then use the front half of the fenders from what ever front you want. I'd assume it would be the same for the eg-ek swap. never seen that one done.

it is possible, not sure how much modding is needed, but it is possible...

also, why did u post "..for an EG" in the subject? ... hatchies are EG's, coupes are EK i believe

its been done plenty of times. u need the ek radiator support, hood, front bumper, headlights, fenders. only modification thats need is u gotta weld half the eg fenders with the ek fenders

'92-'95 Civics are generalized as "EG's"...but there's EG's, EH's, etc.

'96-'00 Civics are generalized as "EK's"...but there's EJ's, EK's, etc.

And yes, the swap is possible, but I don't think it looks very good

I have a 2000 front end conversion on my eg. You can do it with eg fenders, but rhey must have the headlight area cut back to allow the larger headlights. I do not reccomend this method as the bumper lines up strangely to the fenders and I'm having my front end redone this weekend as a result.

Type-O on my part...'92-'95 Civics are EG's.

Once you're on this forum a while, you learn stuff that you usually wouldn't know

****, dude just look at the VIN in your car, serie, or however you wanna call it, and call your coupe 95 EX an EJ1... shoot... I've seen the 97 fron end on an EJ1, looks horrible, I wish I could see that car again, to crack his window. I also saw RSX's front lights in an EJ2. gosh, f*ckin stupid. keep it OEM dude. that's all I can add.

hahaha...wow...this thread went nowhere it was supposed to go. The 99-00 front end is not a direct bolt in affair as you already know.....BUT, i was just looking through craigslist.org and saw a few pics of the eg with a 99-00 front end. Looks ugly. I would recommend against it.
