Air/Fuel gauge install...problem
I installed an air/fuel ratio gauge in my 97 integra ls. I followed this how to http://www.team-integra.net/se...D=668
Instead of cutting the solid white with red line wire, I cut the solid red with white lined wire. It doesnt work like the others that I have seen, but it does move slowly. When I redid the wiring, and connected it to the solid white with red line, there were no readings, I tried both white/red line wires, and no reading, stays on rich.
Just wondering which wire you guys with automatic ls's connected the purple signal wire too. Thanks a lot.

I have one now, tap onto the white/red wire. Start your car and wait for it to warm up. It should move constantly wether u r idling or driving, it is not accurate on just one setting. If it doesnt respond your o2 sensor may be bad. I thought it was broken but after doing some research on google i found that everyones Sunpro or airmeter whatever brand air/fuel ratio gauge you are using will constantly move learn thru rich and back because your ecu is constantly trying to match your air/fuel. If you want an accurate reading you would need a wideband sensor.
I am thinking to buy one cut the plastic connector from the stock o2 with the 4 wires and connect it to the 4 wire wideband just to have an accurate reading, they arent cheap though.. has anyone done this and if it reads better.. better gas mileage maybe?
