none of the belts fit
I bought all new belts for A/C, PS, and alt and when i got home not one of the belts is the same size or even usable on my car, a 95 del sol si... i made sure they got the right part # for my specific model, but even so, the a/c and alt belt according to them are the same size on all 3 models of del sol, then the p/s belt is only different on the S model, and i didn't even get the correct size for that motor....
looking around online all the ones to buy for my make and model are VERY similar sizes and so are the EX model's belts (same motor) so i am confused...
The stamp on the block says d16z6 (correct motor for my model) and does not seem to be tampered with at all... this car is very low mileage (57000 miles) so i don't see a reason that the motor even should be a different SOHC motor
i also bought an alternator from them and the alternator belt does not fit around both pulleys, even when the tensioner is completely loose and the alt is pressed against the block... and the original belt for this application would be the 77.9 cm one mentioned below and the new one is the 77.5 cm... smaller... the only belt that fits is the 81.5 cm that was originally connected to the power steering pump, and the tensioner is about 1 inch from being fully extended
does anybody have similar experience or maybe can tell me why this is happening...
the belts that i originally took off the car are sizes:
4pk779 77.9 cm
4pk795 79.5 cm
4pk815 81.5 cm
and the sizes they sold me are:
4pk775 77.5 cm
4pk788 78.8 cm
4pk864 86.4 cm
thanks
