What was Honda thinking? (pics)
I have a 92 vx and I purchased some off brand remanned brake calipers. (honda wanted too much money for it since I am selling the car)
To start off I understand how brakes work, but I have no idea how you are supposed to get the pin in the top part of this caliper since it has a cap over the top.
In this pic the one I am talking about is on the right side, that hole is far too small to put a bolt threw, or anything I can think of.
Here is inside that capped part, there is nothing inside..
Here is the hardware I have, I think that sleeve goes inside, but I still have no idea what fastens it to the bracket.
Missing hardware?
Any advice?

take a look at another caliper perhaps on the car to see how it goes together...well, if they are the same.
one good rule to go by when working on a car...or anything for that matter....put it back together the same way you took it apart

Re: (goldegg)
Front or rear?
It looks front, one side (left) takes a bolt, the other (right) doesnt, it sits on a shaft that allows it to rotate when changing pads.

it looks similar to the setup my friend got on his 99 dx hatch one one side only the sleeve holds the caliber and on the other u put on bolt so u basically just use one bolt and the other just has the sliding pin in it

It really is quite simple the silver color bolt #21 and the brass sleeve #25 go together. in your photo of the caliper remove the bolt on the left. pull the caliper apart there will be a slider. Look at this diagram.

The plug is just a dust cap, you do not thread any bolts through that.
Perhaps you should actually learn how it works, then you can pass on some usefull information.
