FS: Carbon Kevlar Longboard
SOLD to ssdjoey1904 for $310!
A friend of mine built me a custom longboard. The top layer is carbon fiber (covered with paint) and the bottom two layers are Kevlar with foam sandwiched in between similar to a surfboard.
I can't stand when people try to sell stuff and give some crappy *** cell phone picture where you barely can see what the hell your buying so I took some time (2 hours) to take some high quality shots so you know exactly what you're buying. Thanks for looking.

Width of Standing Surface:

The weight of the board itself is only 2.5 lbs which is close to nothing for a board of this size.

There are huge fenders to house the custom 145mm wheels from Germany.

And the board curves down from those wheel arches so the rider has a lower center of gravity. (I like my longboards how I like my cars, low)

The board is not perfect. I took as detailed pictures as I could to show you the little faults in the board.
I actually received the board like this. Because this was a prototype things weren't perfect and he filled a little dent in the Kevlar with resin.

There is also a scratch if you can see it on the underbelly from my fatass friend that decided he wanted to take a really sharp turn with it

Small knick in the paint:

Carbon Kevlar Goodness. Yum

My friend Shea of Shea's Luxury Detailing came by, did a color buff and shined up my new paint.

It looks like you can see through the board but its just the reflection of the grass.

Nice work & detailed pics!
I also can't stand cell phone pics.
I don't know what a longboard is,
but someone can use that one for...
a canard? hatch spoiler vortex generator? diffuser...etc.
you gave measurements
just throwing out some ideas

The PM function isn't working right now but I had a question regarding the ride-ability of the board. I ride in on campus everyday for the past two years and its still in nearly perfect condition.
And I will personally guarantee you that it'll be the smoothest longboard you have ever ridden on. It literally feels like your floating on a hover board. Not that I know what a hover board feels like. But you get the drift.
And the manufacturer of the board said it can support 6,000 lbs (he backed it up with computer models and data) so don't worry about breaking it.
Hope I answered your questions.

6,000 lbs ?
alright, if a bullet was coming toward me, that board is what I’d want in front of me. Something that may be useful on campus these days.
A bike can't even shield as much as this one.

I'm not into riding those things.. but man, that is a beautiful piece of fabrication
Bump for taking time to get good pics, being honest and strait forward. I now live in skateboard central CA, there's gotta be someone that wants this thing... I'm going to show this to some buddies.

I go to school at UNLV in Vegas and a kid got shot last year while being car jacked
. I felt safer riding it. hahah. I don't know how good kevlar would be with resin on it though. It'll probably just shatter. Well, 2 layers of kevlar and resin and a layer of carbon fiber is better than straight flesh I guess.
Anywho, thanks for the bumps everyone
