For Those with JDM fronts... Front filler question.
here is a picture of my hatch..... i am currently out of state and i am not around my car but this was one of the problems i remember and bothered me....
when i come back i am going to fix it.
any way. when i put my jdm front on.... i notice that the front filler did not bolt up in these two areas circled in red.... there was a gap of around 1 inch to bolt it in, which i would have to push the fuller towards the firewall to fit but that would bend the filler peice.... the center bolt which bolts to the Tbar was bolt on..... but the sides do not.....
did anybody have a problem like that???
also one thing to consider is that i purchased this jdm front brand new... so there might be parts i could have been missing but i could be wrong.

Dang, surprisingly I had this same problem. I had two fillers (one from my JDM SiR front), and another from a late model ZC with the SiR front (black). The red one from my genuine JDM SiR front didn't fit worth a damn, but the ZC late model black SiR filler went on like a charm.
Here's a pic of what I mean:

Nothing exhibited having being bent or pulled. Perhaps there were changes made to the filler pieces over the years? Because the SiR engine bay is physically longer than the USDM's...maybe a problem with different rad supports?
Hopefully this could help, but I'm really really high right now

I'm straight now...^ exactly what I said heh. I used the EF7/EF3 T-bar along with my late model filler to get what I have above
. The real EF9 SiR filler piece wouldn't work for me with either the EF3/EF7 t-bar or the USDM t-bar.
