I have never ran any other tire in the list other than my Falken's. But they arent considered a drag radial either. I like them and have posted some good 60's with them and they will probably outlast most the other choices.

the BFG g-force is undoubtably the best drag radial.. the nitto 555R is probably the best street tire that u can really heat up at the track and get descent life out of it.. The Azenis is probably the best street tire that will last a descent amount of time, not heat up too bad on long highway drives(which btw, the BFG's heat up like a **** on highway drives) and still perform well at the track while performing well in cornering as well.. Currently im running the BFG's but with a tread life of 5k miles it is just not affordable for me to run them daily.. Im going to go with the Azenis next time.

to my self haha
All those tires on the street Ware out way too quickly. Softer compound, I have had the nitto 555R's at street tires, they didn't last too long at all.
I like the Khumos victoRacers or bfgoodrich comp TA's are great tires to race on and are made of a harder compound so they will last longer...But if your racing for money Bfgoodrich are the only contingencies (sp)

I looked on that site, and I couldn't find any for 16 inch rims. Does BFGoodrich not make the g-froce for 16 inch wheels?

heres bottom line the better the tire of course the least amount of life u have, but considering how much $ we spend on our cars i dont think $200-$250 every four five months is expensive. Especially if u want to put power to the ground. Why spend 3-5 k on turbo setup so you can run some nitto 450's or something to not get traction. If ur on a budget, i bought 555r's 16' for $202 and they were on mty car when they got stolen and i had had them for about 8k miles, didnt hook as good as bfg but they still worked.

hrm... I would like to get the BGGoodrich g-force radials because i currently dont use my stock rims. (01 prelude sh) They are 16" so i was hoping i could mount the drag radials on them and only use it when i go to the track. It's looking like im either going to have to get the nittos or some different rims

If your running the BFG's (the best IMO) then grab a $50 pair of steelies and mount them on there. Use them ONLY at the track and skip the waterbox for peak performance.
I carry my pair (15x6.5 slipstreams) in the back of may hatch and swap them out at the track....launches consistently and hard everytime.

I've been cutting 2.0 60ft's with the comp t/a's. On my stock tires i was getting high 2.3's to low 2.5's. on my first run ever on the comp t/a's i got a 2.1 then after about 5 passes my best was a 2.03
Last i knew bfg still didnt make a 16' drag radial, your gonna have to runs 15's, someone correct me if im wrong
Have any of you guys run the BFG's with a 6 puck unsprung disc? For those that have, are you breaking any driveline parts like 88crxoncrack mentioned?

if you want them to hook like hell dont expect the tranny to survive
this has been covered 100's of times. the bf's hook better than all others. the shred up like slicks and last about 1000 miles or so. the nittos hook decent but they last me about 8k miles which is good for what they are. I run 255/50/16's bf's and they hook well up until about 500whp.

IMO nitto's are best all-around....bfg's wear way too fast
but really work well at the track
.. i'd rather just buy some slicks for track use.....
i cant find 15 inch nittos anywhere...i think there dicontinued

I have a pair of 205/50-15 BFG g-forces with 20-30 passes and 300-400 mi on them. How much do you guys think I can get for them?
