I would like to know if anyone is running this Ohlins setup? This setup has 5 way hieght adjustment. I will be doing a combination of normal street driving, Road Racing and Auto-X. I know Ohlins is an excellent strut, I really want to get people's driving impression of them.

They look like alot of $$$$$$$.
Going by the name, I bet they are high quality stuff with custom spring rates and adjustable dampers. I've only seen them in my Hyper Rev.

Never used them....but I know they make most of the TRIPLE ADJ...for CART etc...and Penske Triples as well so they can't be bad.
I bet they're nice. I'm thinking about Ohlins shocks/struts for the Turbo Pig. Remote reservoir, eight-position adjustable:

$1700 for the front and back
Pat, who wonders if Ohlin fronts/Koni Sport backs would be driveable

ITRinEJ has a major back set on His Civic Coupe.... Hit him up ..I know that he found ause set that was cherry when he was out here in Japan in April
I have a set on my eg6SiR they ride fairly stiff for the street but the feel great on the freeway when you get above 120kmh.
i am running them with ohlins springs and cusco upper pillow mounts. i dunno the spring rates because i bought the whole set up used and the the guy at showa didnt know.
the only bitches i have is that the pillows make a little noise and the stiff ride gets annoying cuz japans roads are all screwed up.

Very nice. Can someone explain the benefits of the remote reservoir to me....
In the case of the Ohlins, there is separate valving inside the reservoir that provides additional damping action in series with the main damper. By adjusting the reservoir damping, you have more flexible control over the shape of the damping curve than you have with normal multi-adjustable dampers.
Come on big boy, that's less than a set of Buddy Clubs fro an R.
Still looking at another $300 or so for springs, because no one makes coilovers for the Pig (at least in this country)

It would be cool though... For the bling factor if nothing else

Pat, who wonders if Ed ordered his stickers from that thread in the FI forum yet
a friend of mine has them in his JDM integra SiR with ITR rear control arms, of all the cars i've been in with aftermarket suspension, his has to be the sweetest, i think they have 30 adjustments for damping and he has his set at 10 clicks from hardest in the front and 15 in the rear, IMO it is the most comfortable set up i know, firm but not too harsh and with just the right amount of bounce and rebound for fantastic handling..

I though Ohlins shocks were $1000-$2000 per corner? $1700 for set of four does not seem all that bad. Who sells these?
