Default Nasty Nasty S2000 from Twins Turbo with Bullseye/Borg Warner S480 80mm turbo

I was out visiting one of my most favorite dealers in L.A. and I happen to come across one of the baddest S2000 on the planet.

These guys are straight up sick in the head to build an animal like this. This car is built with one purpose in mind and that is making big power. The Twins dropped in a 2jzgte power plant with a monster extended tip 80mm turbocharger from Bullseye Power/Borg Warner on it.

Take a look at this sick work. The header is my favorite.

Not sure what the finish date is but here is some more info from the Twins.

The owner of the car designs and builds carbon bodywork for a living. He has already designed and built a dry carbon fiber ultra light weight body lit for the car. His original goals were to be competitive in next years Gumball 3000. Since he has been coming to the race track with for the last few months he is now planning on doing some NASA racing also. It should be pretty bad *** when finished. the set up list will be pretty long so I will start off with the basics.Keep in mind that is will not be a drag car, but a RR car.
the Engine is a Brian Crower 3.4 liter with billet main caps, 1/2" head studs, custom Arias pistons and wrist pins. built in house.
Using the stk V160 6speed supra trans.
engine and trans sit way far behind the shock towers, should be decent weight balance.
Custom 6 into 1 header,d/p fabricated in house. we will be using a Borg Warner S366 or S370 turbo.
we have a ford 9" rear end set up to bolt into the Honda rear crossmember and maintain the IRS with driveshaft shop stg 5 axles.
we are running the new CCW C-10's in black. 18"-12F 295/35 and 18"-13 r 335/35 r compounds for now.
the list of things we are doing is pretty long. Hope you guys like it so far, i will try to keep you all up to date on the progress.

Nice. I dunno if Im more happy about the car, or that the owner will actually run the thing hard and not make it a show car like most when they do projects like that.

****, I'd give up my entire console to stuff a 2JZ in an S2k...and end up with a technically 'mid' engine layout. Looks like the entire block is behind the axle, which is the technical requirement for mid-engine. Hopefully that should offset the extra weight of the iron block.

No one ever accused the twins of being sane. I am not sure if you know who these guys’s are.

The Twins Turbo owners are the same cats that hosted the Full Throttle TV show on the History Channel.

I still think an s13 240sx would be a better chassis for something like this since it's lighter than the s2k to begin with but freakin awesome project none the less. Good to see they are doing it right and taking weight distribution into consideration.
