Yup, same exact IM, go with the blox unless you like to spend extra money on a sticker

skunk2 > blox any day. by the way you can get skunk2 manifold shipped to your door for $200. I bought mine from this guy https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1789841

I was asking myself this same question a few months back... Since I have the money, I would go with skunk2. But if money is really an issue and you want it now, then go with Blox. Pretty much the same thing though.

are you blind? didn't the guy above just state that the welds on the blox are shitty next to the skunk2? i even experienced that myself and my builder told me the same thing also. if they both come from the same company then theres a reason why blox is cheaper.

I have a blox on my b18c and it was well worth 150$ shipped from prostreetonline.

I don't have any kind of source, but i'm almost certain that you wouldn't feel any kind of power differences between the two manifolds on the same exact engine. The welds on my blox were not as smooth as possible, but they were not bad at all to a point were performance would be affected. The only reason to get the skunk over the blox would be because of the C.A.R.B. sticker for cali residents.

ya, i never had the skunk2 IM, but my first experience with the blox wasn't a good one. the first time driving the car with the blox IM on, the coolant tap blew straight out of the manifold.

i wound up having to JB weld it back in. haven't had a problem since, but still..

LET ME REPEAT MYSELF I OWN BOTH INTAKE MANIFOLDS THE SKUNK2 AND THE BLOX
THE BLOX ONE HAS SHITTY WELDS AND HAS A SHITTY PLENUM

TYPE R HEADS AND B16 HEADS ARE MADE IN THE SAME BUILDING TO AND ONE IS BETTER THAN THE REST
ITS NOT THE FACT THAT THEIR MADE IN THE SAME BUILDING ITS THE FACT OF WHICH COMPANY IS WILLING TO PAY MORE FOR THE BETTER PRODUCT
SO WHEN SKUNK2 PAYS MORE FOR EACH MANIFOLD THAT BLOX AND THATS WHY THE SKUNK2 COST ANYWHERE FROM $50-80 MORE ITS BECAUSE THEY ARE PAYING MORE THEMSELVES TO HAVE THE COMPANY DO A BETTER JOB

Same exact thing happened to me. The blox mani is such a POS. I also had a slight injector leak which could have from the manifold. But I also had a real hard time just getting the damn thing on. The holes for the IM manifold studs aren't placed perfectly. What a POS

stupid ? but if you think how a comp makes **** they rnt going to say ok set the welder to the shitty setting for the blox im and to good for skunk2.. it cant be done that way if the welds are diff they are using diff machines y do that y not use the same machine and put a diff name on it i dont believe they are the same comp. your telling me that a comp would spend thousands of bucks on a diff machine to make the exact same part and sale it for less um no doesnt work that way. plus all the extra workers they have to hire..

if its the same comp it would look exact. the same!!! with a diff name printed on it. and if it was the same comp y wouldnt they have that cali sticker come with one and not the other. it would sale much better . u would think when they do what ever they have to do to get that sticker they would say" hay look we make this one 2(blox) give us a sticker for both of our products.. duh
