Default h22 swap questions

ok well i am trying to get a list of what i need to go into my hatch. My main questions is : what kind axles do i use? will they have to be hybrid? since i will be using the h22 2.2l jdm version will i have to convert to obd2 or is it obd1? I know i will have to convert to a hydro tranny which i don't have problems with. also is place racing the only place that makes a mount kit for this in a 4th gen hatch.

ok thats enough from me, i just wanna get some **** straightened out. also i don't wanna hear how it won't handle i don't give a ****, if i wanted a auto-x i wouldn't be asking about this so don't say crap about it.

I talked to a guy a month ago who had this swap in his crx. He said he got his axles from http://www.raxles.com. The mounts we re-welded. Im pretty sure you would use obdII, not positive. Dont you usually lock or delete threads that involve h22's in 4th gens?

no i don't, i am actually planning this for a future swap. I'm not a **** for tech threads unless it was discussed a million times.

thanks for the axles link.

if its obd2, i would see if someone out there can make up an ecu with obd1. converting to obd1 will be a lot easier than converting to obd2. you've seen mackymcg's car. he did that since he had the whole itr shell and took the wiring harness out of it.

Actually the ITR i got my engine from they cut the ECU out along with the connectors, along with many other malicious cuts. I purchased the engine wiring harness and ECU, though I still had the fuse boxes to use.
The wiring with the fuse boxes only required I think 30-40 wire splices keeping the old system in there. It sounds like a lot but If you got the money for the wiring harness, and have patience to stare a long time at both ETM's, shouldn't be too hard. The wiring took me with my dad helping around three full days.
