Default AP-Duece

Installed the first round of mods on the AP2. Skunk2 lowering springs, and the OEM front lip. Springs...didn't drop the car as much as I thought they were. Maybe they will settle a bit. We shall see. As for the OEM lip, it should be standard on all S2000's. Now, just need wheels!!

You're off to a good start. Did you preload the suspension when installing the springs?

I thought I would be slammed too. Oh well, I will see what happens.

Preload the suspension?

Thanks for the compliments!

Looking VERY good. The Accord is jealous though..... I bet the S2K loves to get out on those Montana roads and stretch her legs.

why did you buy Skunk2 lowering springs? Those things are horrible and the stock ones are stiffer lol. At least they feel that way.

Did not remove the bumper to install the lip, nor did I preload the suspension. As for the Skunks...I haven't notice one change in the ride. I mean, nothing. Doesn't ride stiffer, doesn't ride softer. It was just a purely cosemetic mod till I get done with my Accord, and can really research suspension set-ups (much more EXPANSIVE) for this car.

Thanks for the compliments. And, JDM.Brown, yes, the Accord sometimes gets jealous. But don't worry, the Accord is getting some TLC very soon!

every s2k looks different with those spring, my friends s2k took 2 months untill it settled, and when i had these springs mine settled just driving it around the block and i never preloaded the bushings, just loosen up the 17mm's on the front control arms and lower it down and tighten them back up, but trust me the front is gonna go down about another 1/2 inch.

Yeah, I actually have a picture of your car saved in my photobucket account! Was the reason I decided to go with the Skunks based purely on cosemetics. I hope they do settle a bit. But, I'm not too worried. Might be best they don't, considering the offset of the wheels I bought!
