Default Drag Radial Times 60' 330'

What 60 and 330 are you hitting on your drag radials?

Any special techniques?

Me:
Open Differential
205/50/15 BFG's
No Bars
60' 2.054
330' 5.701

Help?

I ran the 225/50 BFG's for the first time last night. Running them at 12psi hot. I don't have the 330's but when they weren't hot enough they were consistent high 2.0 low 2.1 tires. Once they got hot and broke in a bit I cut two 1.95's. No traction bars, torsen LSD. My key to getting them hot was 1st gear burnout. If I did it in 2nd they were grippy enough to pull me out of the box too quickly. I think these tires could cut 1.8s on my car no problem.

Don't know the 330' but I did a 1.94 60' with around 225's, open diff, 10 psi cold and 3rd gear burnout. I'm sure I could've mustered a 1.8' but the 2-step was set too low.

theres nothing wrong with 18psi every gear!
This past year I was @ 32psi in every gear and managed to pull 11.01@132 on bfgs

A few times....not to often....8-10psi in the radials ...just have to get the car rolling alittle bit before you start into the big power...next time you go to the track try rolling out half throttle then jump on it at like 30'

60' doesent really mean **** in DR its all about the 330' if your under a 5.00 you will be going under 11.30 with your trap

Dan, way back in the day when I once owned a white hatch I managed to get
60' = 2.035
330' = 5.513
12psi in the tires

The set up was B16 IHE chiped ecu and 75 shot, spraying first gear. 225 bfg's. I was on the same trans you are, right down to the vin number

I've been hitting constant 60' times of 1.6 for the last 2 weeks, tonight i hit a 1.7 & 1.8 60'

Im on MH 24.5x8x13 @ 6PSI in the tires but im gonna change to 25's.

Hit 7.1@108mph tonight with a 60' of 1.8
If i would have hit a 1.6 60' i think that would have got me a 7.0 flat or better. you think so?

Hey were all trying here, thats what counts. Different tracks react differently to FWD cars along with how much VHT the track likes to use. There is no need to put anyone else down, If you would be interested in helping out or giving tips that would be great.

My 60's were cut on a street car with open dif, no traction bar or suspension work first time out second time to the track in about 6 years. I'm just looking to see what everyone else is doing, not looking for who is "best"
