What is the best HID kit for my Teg?
I want to buy an HID kit for my 01 Integra GSR and I don't know which one to buy, if I buy a kit at all. Can I go get some parts from Acura and make a factory kit? I want them to flicker when they come on and I want them to look like an S200. Is 9500K too hot?
I have the philips 4300Kelvin kit.
This kit doesn't produce the blue/purple light effect, however it does light up the road alot better then the stock halogens. Some say the bluer 6000k bulb doesn't produce as much light as the 4300k bulb, but their said to look "cooler".

Depends what you color & how much you want to pay. But I warn everyone, the price is what you get for. Like with our HID kits, it's made by SPW. We discontinued selling the cheap K2 brands because customers experience too many problems. Nokya HID kits are ok brand also. NEVER buy those kits from eBay. It sucks, less then 90 days or NO warranty, and they'll never tell you what brand or where it's manufactured.
We offer 7000K & 9000K kits. Now these "K" just stands for Kelvin and is only how 'white' 'red' 'yellow' and what color output they are. It doesn't not indicate how bright it is. The 7000K has the super white look with purplish tint, very white & more S2000 looking. The 9000K kit is more blue but brighter then the 7000K.
Here's the difference & what you should look for. What the kit consists of:
1. Ballast - Hella (Germany) or Philips is a good brand
2. Bulbs - Philips & don't buy with cheap molded plugs
If the two condition is not met, I wouldn't even consider buying some of the kits out there. Our HID Plus kit is made with Hella ballasts & Philip bulbs. Plus it comes with full 1-year warranty for all honda-tech.com members
Our store is opening in a new domain so keep checkinig but if you do want a kit, you can contact me & I'll give you a better price then the one on the site

7000K is probably the closest to the 6000K. You can't really tell the difference. They are definitely more whiter & with purple hue to it.

1. All OEM HID bulbs are in the 4100-4300k colour temperature. Bulbs with this temperature put out the most light (rated at 3200 lumens) while the 6000k bulbs put out 20% less light. As the colour temperature goes up, the light output goes down.
2. I bought HID for more light, not because I wanted blue light so that I can look cool. I think that anyone who buys HID for blue headlights is a ricer. In halogen housings, 6000k will give you a good approximation of OEM HID, but the look of the headlights is still different than OEM HID. I did not want to get stopped by the police for blue lights, and in over 15 months of owning HID, I have not gotten stopped once.
3. With a little bit of work, 4300K can be made indistinguishable from OEM HID by playing with the shield.
Here is a pic of my lights after the bulbs are fully warmed up
If people are too lazy to research a part before they buy it, then they deserved to get flamed. As someone said in a previous post, HT sometimes promotes laziness.....
That is something that Tekken should take into consideration

wtf 7000K and 9000K???? dude the human eye can't even see in those ranges.... that would probably be approaching ultraviolet wavelengths.... I would be PISSED if somebody had some UV lights shining into MY retinas at night!

I've got the true Philips bulbs and ballasts 4300k D2S 9006 HID kit from the visualdynamics GB going on right now, and I love them. 4300k will give you the most usable light output, anything higher only give you a more bluer/purplish light but does not give you more light output, it actually decreases it. Enjoy.
