I know most people here don't really like tint, but in CA it gets to the point of being fried or having your seats turn a lovely purple I had my tint done when I first got it (9 years ago), but I'm going to be re-doing it.

Does anyone have CW ITRs with tint that can post some pics so I can get an idea of what % I should get? Right now I'm thinking 20% rear and 35% sides...

i have 20% on everything exept windshield........... and no the plate in the 2nd pic is not mine its a friends old plate just used for the pic

 

hmmm...looks like 20% is lighter than i thought. wondering if i should just do 20% all around? hopefully other people will post...i just want to see what goes best with it...i figured 20% rear and 35% sides would give it an affect of fading from dark to light.

 

i have 20 on the rears and 35 in the front... it nice since cops dont bug me. However, if i would redo it i would do 20 all around.

 

I had 20% on my old ITR and it was not very dark. I went with 5% on my new TL and love how dark it is. Cops here do not have tint meters and we do not have inspections.

 

My back 3 windows are very dark. seats are perfectly fine and I like having dark windows. Looks good...and it keeps the inside a little cooler...

I like it. I almost wish it was darker while driving during the day, but everytime I drive at night I am reminded why that is not a good idea. I can't see very well at night, especially backing up. I have to let my window down and stick my head out to make sure I am not going to hit anything. If it is good weather, I just ride with the windows down at night so that I can see......

Indeed, that CW is super clean BTW.

Thanks for all the posts everyone! It seems like a lot of people did 20% all around and seem to be happy. I was hoping to see some 35%, but oh well. I'll hopefully pass by the shop this week and get it finally re-done

my buddy had 20% on his, it looked nice, but driving at night was crap! I hated it, I couldnt see anything behind me at night. just my .02

i have 20 on all my windows as well, except windshield.

 

20% all the way around, and a note from my optomitrist so that if i get pulled over I don't get a ticket. I went to court for that and i'm now legal.
