Pictures of my AWD Turbo GSX
edit: just dyno'd the car...made 305whp, 320lb tq, 22lbs, 93 octane...
...since i'm on vacation for about a month, i decided to take some pics of the awd.
it gets dynoed this week...and then i'll take it to the track. should make 330whp, go low 12's if i can dial it all in properly.
specs are in my profile...click on 91 gsx.
(why i live in florida...pic from inside the palm arboretum)

and a bad picture of the engine bay...

thankfully i've never had a motor with thrust bearing issues...
i have blown a headgasket with this car though ...which was from alcohol injection mostly.

colt is still in my garage...
i am rebuilding the transmission, tilton twin disk, cage, race seats, harnesses, big front mount intercooler, custom IC piping, tial bov, etc, etc.
basically, i'm going ***** to the wall with the colt...and wanted to get this car out of the way before i started on the next project.
in all honesty, i kinda wish i had never purchased this car as a shell...as nice as it is...it isn't that much fun to drive.

numbers are nice, but not uncommon for that type of car....plus they have a huge tendency to break...a lot..(as im sure you know)

i went out of my way to build this car so it will not break.
4bolt rear
quartermaster twin disk clutch
built transmission w/ 4spider center diff
good compression stock motor
new rotors, new calipers all the way around
new engine mounts
rebuilt ecu
will be tuned...so there isn't anything that i can think of that hasn't been replaced that could break...obviously anything can happen...but i've had great luck with these cars when i take this approach...as i daily drove the colt for 4 years and had one failure (clutch master cylinder) which was directly related to the act2600 thats in the car.

people either love or hate these cars.
i like them because its easy and less expensive to make horsepower...compared to a honda most of the time.
i spent more than i would have liked to...but this car is a blast to drive now.
