I'm pulling my Y8 head out tomorrow, it's gotta go. It's got a Crower Stage 2 cam with less than 5k miles on it. I ported it mildly before the last install, it's been run less than 50 miles since then, mostly I cleaned up the casting and smoothed the transition to the valve seats, and removed a little material. It also includes a red AEM Tru-Time adjustable cam gear. I installed new OEM valve stem seals and lapped the valves before installation as well. Compression is good, with the PM7 pistons it ran 230 +/- 5 psi on all four.

On a normal mini me, before porting (a mini me with IHE and cam) this thing moved really well for a D series, the cam made a huge difference. I haven't dyno'd it, but a bunch of members on CRX Community have been in the car and some have driven it, they can vouch for it. With an Si tranny it was hard not to spin wheel... and it did break itself once, when the mount tore out of the side of the block. My friend who tuned this setup for me on Crome can provide a map for you if you plan to run something similar.


I don't really know what it's worth, the cam alone is $250 (I bought it new from Crower). Make me a reasonable offer and it's yours, I want to get rid of it now and start working on a Z6 head.
